Our why
Megan Downs Ministry exists to teach the Word of God with clarity, depth, and faithfulness, equipping women to know Scripture rightly and live it out courageously in everyday life. A ministry that started at a kitchen table has launched into a mission through biblical teaching, speaking, and podcast form, this ministry seeks to help women grow in spiritual discernment, confidence in truth, and a deep love for Christ that shapes how they think, speak, and serve.
Rooted in a high view of Scripture and a commitment to sound doctrine, Megan Downs Ministry is dedicated to helping women move beyond surface-level faith into a steady, anchored walk with the Lord. The mission is not simply to inspire, but to form women who are grounded in God’s Word, resilient in seasons of struggle, and faithful in obedience, whether in the home, the church, or the wider world.

What we Believe
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Father rules in perfect love and holiness.
The Son, Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, risen physically from the dead, and returning again.
The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, empowering us to understand Scripture, walk in obedience, and bear spiritual fruit.
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. No amount of good works can save us, but true saving faith will always produce visible fruit in a transformed life.
We believe motherhood is Kingdom work. God entrusts children to parents with purpose, and the home is often the first place discipleship begins. Whether you’re raising toddlers, teenagers, or grown kids, God uses your faithfulness in ways you may never see this side of heaven.
We believe community matters. MDM exists to create a space where women can learn Scripture in context, ask honest questions, build Christ-centered relationships, and grow in spiritual maturity. No pressure, no pretending, just real women meeting a real Jesus.
Meet Megan
Hi, I’m Megan! I am a wife, home-schooling mom of five, and a woman deeply grateful for God’s patience and grace.
I haven’t always followed the Lord. My story isn’t one of perfection or having it all figured out early on. But by God’s mercy, I was saved, and over time the Holy Spirit began to gently change my heart. What started as simple obedience grew into a deep hunger to know God through His Word.
I’m married to my best friend, and together we’re raising our kids in the middle of real life. Busy days, loud rooms, growing faith, and a lot of learning along the way. Motherhood has been one of the primary places God has shaped me, humbled me, and drawn me closer to Himself.
MDM was born out of a desire to study Scripture honestly and faithfully, not as an expert, but as a woman who knows her need for truth. I believe God’s Word is living, active, and sufficient, and that women are strengthened when they are rooted in Scripture rather than feelings or trends.
I’m still learning. Still growing. Still dependent on grace. And it’s a joy to walk this journey with other women who want to know Jesus and live faithfully right where they are.
